Large Chinoiserie Ceramic Asian temple jar : French Style Floral Decor

It is stunning. A showcase Asian temple jar of intricate white and blue chinoiserie patterns, blending French style with vintage charm. A timeless piece for decor, its ornate floral motifs and substantial size make it a standout addition to any traditional or sophisticated interior.

This piece is unique as there are not many of them if any. This piece was one of the prototype samples for the Oscar de la Renta line with Oriental Accent. done sometime in the 1990's and early 2000's. The company was established in 1880 and they closed in 2014. At that time I was there for the closing and all the old samples and one of a kind prototypes were among the final sale items and I purchased several including this.

The company did the porcelain for many big brands including Oscar de la Renta, the Williamsburg collection, Nautica, Biltmore Estate, Winterthur Museum, Library and Garden, Mark Abrams Design.
