Dating back to 1960's, the solid wood frame has been preserved, while the seat and back have been hand-woven with a stunning "like new" macramé design in natural cord. The rocking chair is a child's version of the iconic Kennedy Rocker, a style with a specific and notable provenance. The chair originated from the P&P Chair Company in Asheboro, North Carolina, founded in 1926. It was initially known as the "Carolina Rocker" This rocker's intricate macramé work replaces the traditional cane, adding a soft, bohemian touch that makes this piece truly one-of-a-kind. It is the perfect size for a toddler or small child, making it an adorable addition to a nursery, a playroom, or as a unique prop for child photography. Condition: Excellent restored condition.
